Anthony (Tony) Carey

Carey Anthony (Tony), (Rockmeade Court, Crumlin and late of Rialto Cottages), 28th March 2025. Passed peacefully with “his angel” Antoinette by his side in the kind care of the staff of the Mary Mercer Ward, St. James’s Hospital. Beloved son of the late George and Elizabeth and much loved brother of the late Harold (Harry), Cecil, Dessie and Tom. Tony will be forever loved and sadly missed by his angel Antoinette and her family, sister Marie, nephews, nieces,extended family, his very good neighbour Joan and his many friends.

 

Antoinette would like to thank Laura for all the care and kindness she has shown Tony and the support that she has given to them both and a special thank you to the staff of The Lorcan O’Toole Day Centre, especially Ellen and Thomas, My Home Care, Meals on Wheels, the Public Health Nurses in Old County Road and ALONE for always looking after Tony so well.

 

May Tony rest in peace.

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (2nd April) at 10am in St. Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium.

 

Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu to the Lorcan O’Toole Day Centre in Tony’s memory.
