Anthony (Tony) Concannon

Tony passed away peacefully on Saturday, 17th May 2025, under the compassionate care of the staff at St. Dominic’s Ward, University Hospital Galway.

The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Tony during his illness.

 

Predeceased by his parents, Paddy and Mary Ellen, brothers Brendan and Michael, his nephew Frank, and niece Adrienne.

Tony will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his brother Pat, sisters Mary (Feeney) and Columba (Conneely), brother-in-law Tommy (Feeney), sisters-in-law Lil (Concannon) and Eilish (Concannon), his many nieces and nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at the Cillín in the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna on Monday, 19th May from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with prayers afterwards.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 20th May at 12 noon in the adjoining Church, followed by burial in the old Barna Cemetery, where Tony will be laid to rest in the family plot.
