Anthony (Tony) Cosgrave

Cosgrave, Anthony (Tony), Dalkey, Co. Dublin. After a blessed and full life Tony passed away at the age of 87 on May 26th, 2023. Tony, was the beloved and faithful husband of Benny and precious father of Jerry, Lisa, Francis, Susan, Edward,Val, Neil and his late son David, brother of Gerard.

 Tony left a wonderful legacy of dedication, hard work, perseverance and integrity to his eight children, twenty-one grandchildren and two great grandchildren. We are so thankful for the extra 40 years God gave us with him after he suffered life threatening injuries being struck by lightning on Baltray Golf Course.

We would like to thank his wonderful GP Dr  Andrew Flaherty who was so accommodating and kind to Tony over the last several years. Also Dr. Mark and team of doctors at St. Michaels Hospital along with the gentle and very attentive nurses and carers.  Tony was so loved and will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.

Reposing on Thursday, the 1st of June, at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Glasthule from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Removal Friday to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, arriving for 10am Funeral Mass which can be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/dalkey followed by the burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park, Ballychorus Road, Dublin 18.
