The death has occurred of
Anthony (Tony) McCarthy
McCARTHY, Anthony (Tony) (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly Cork City) 8th March 2025. Unexpectedly in the care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Anne, much loved father of Fionnuala, Kate, Eavann and Finghín and brother of the late Peter. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, sons-in-law Gerry, Mark and Fergus, adored grandchildren Ellen, Daniel, Rose, Patrick and Evie, sisters Jill and Mary, brothers Gerard and David, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposing at his home on Wednesday (12th March) from 6pm to 8pm . Funeral Mass on Thursday (13th March) at 10am in the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
