Anthony (Tony) McDonagh

Anthony (Tony) Mc Donagh, 16th January 2026, Lightford, Castlebar and late of Ballyloughan, Rakestreet, Crossmolina, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Mattie and Mae and brother Pat.

Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Josephine, son Evin, daughter Derbhile, brother Vincent, sisters Maura (Tully, Castlerea) and Anne (Dublin), daughter-in-law Tania, partner Nicolas, treasured granddaughter Riley, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, devoted carers and a wide circle of friends.

May he rest in peace.

Tony will repose in Coady’s Funeral home, Castlebar, F23 XY63, on Sunday (18th January) from 3.30pm with removal at 6pm to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Requiem Mass on Monday (19th January) at 11.30 a.m with burial afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.
