Anthony (Tony) Murphy

Anthony (Tony) Murphy (Sandymount, and formerly of Aer Lingus). Passed away peacefully on the 15th of February, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the Glebe Nursing Home. Predeceased by his daughter Gertrude, brother Patrick, and daughter-in-law Liz.

 

Beloved husband of Dolores for nearly 60 years, and much-loved father of Susan, Martin, Tony, and Linda. A devoted and cherished grandfather to his 12 grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his sister Breda, brother Frank, nieces and nephews, sons-in-law Bruce and Declan, daughter-in-law Beatrice, extended family, and friends.

Anthony will repose in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Goatstown, D14 X348 on Wednesday the 19th of February from 5pm - 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Thursday the 20th of February at 10am, in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea, Sandymount followed by cremation service in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome at 12.15pm.
