Anthony (Tony) Reid

Anthony (Tony) Reid, Gortavalley, Shinrone, Birr, Co. Offaly, died 27th of August 2022, in his 96th year, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family, at the Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Predeceased by his mother Bridget, his father Samuel, his sisters Mildred, Dorothy, Maureen, Bridget, his brothers Bob, Albert, Harry, Oliver and his beloved grandnephew Mark. He will be greatly and sadly missed by Danny and his wife Olive, Mary and her husband Michael, nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, relatives, neighbours, the hardworking staff of Ealga Lodge Nursing Home and friends.

Reposing on Tuesday evening in Treacy's funeral home, Shinrone (R42 E125) from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Private removal on Wednesday to St. Mary's Church, Shinrone (R42 WT26) for Funeral Mass at 2 o'clock and burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Shinrone. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Friends of Tullamore Hospital c/o Treacy Funeral Directors, Shinrone.
