Anthony (Tony) Whelan, 4 New Market Lane, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.

 

Peacefully, after a short illness in the wonderful care of The Staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Sunday, 24th March 2024.

 

Pre-deceased by his parents Nora and Brendan, his sisters Pat and Margaret and his brother John.

 

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his children Aoife and Shane, his grandchildren Ben, Ollie, Moya and Alex, brothers Din and Eamon, son-in-law Joe, daughter-in-law Maria, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Tuesday, 26th March from 5pm, concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm.

 

 

Funeral Prayers on Wednesday morning at 9.15am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan for Requiem Mass at 10am. Cremation Service will follow afterwards in Glasnevin Crematorium (Eircode D11 XA32), Dublin at 2pm.
