Anthony Weir

The death has occurred of Anthony Weir, Kildallon Lodge, Sonna, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – 25th November 2025 (peacefully) aged 92 years, in the company of his loving family and in the excellent care of the staff at Roselodge Nursing Home, Killucan.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Eva, his sisters Sr Edel MMM, Eva (Innes), Eleanor (Curtin) and Camilla.
Anthony will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Teresa (McCann), his son Padraic and daughter Marion (Kenny), his cherished grandchildren Jean (her husband Colm O’Leary), Lisa, Robert, Anthony and Gráinne, great-grandchildren Hazel and Alice, son-in-law Pat, daughter-in-law Noreen (McCarthy), brother Noel, sister Muriel and her husband Sam, brothers-in-law Christopher, Michael and Martin, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at St Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel (N91 VF51) on Friday November 28th from 4 pm concluding with prayers at 6 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 29th at 10 am in St Michael’s Church, Sonna (N91 V302) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Anthony's funeral Mass will be live streamed through the link below via Rjp Dolan Facebook page to facilitate anyone who is unable to attend in person.
