Arthur (Art) McDonnell, Ardaghy, Omeath, Co. Louth. Died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. 1st February 2025. Art son of late Joseph and Catherine, step son of the late Patsy Traynor, beloved husband of the late Sarah (Sally) née O’Connor, dear father of Micheál, Geraldine (Farrelly), Finbarr, Declan, Martina (Bohan) and the late Ciaran and Veronica, loving grandad of Michelle Ciaran, Patrice, Donna, Anita, Siobhán, Gavin, Barry, Conor, Laura, Rían and Rachel, great-grandad of Ryan, Dylan, Cian, Fionn, Hayden, Conor, Saoirse, Sarah, Feilim, Michael, Kate, Evie, Alfie and Emily, brother of Sean and the late Joseph and William, and father-in-law of Mary, Paddy, Rosemary, Peter and the late Imelda. Art will be sadly missed by his family, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Art will repose at his son Finbarr’s home (A91E985) Annaskeagh Ravensdale, from 2pm until 8pm on Monday, House Private at all other times. Removal on Tuesday to St Laurences Church Omeath arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
