On February 12th, 2026, peacefully, in the gentle presence of his loving family and in the exceptional and tender care of the wonderful staff at Marymount Hospice & Hospital.

 

Much loved and devoted husband of Helen (née Sweeney). A proud and cherished Daddy to Mairéad, Niamh, Aedín, Sinéad and Gearóid, who were the light of his life. Adored Grandad 'O' of Noah, Helena, Oscar, Ella, Lyla and Abbie. Dearly loved brother of Paul, Liz, Mary, Margaret and Jacinta.

 

Predeceased by his beloved parents Paul and Madge and his dear sister Anita.

 

Arthur will be deeply missed and forever lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife, son, daughters, treasured grandchildren, sons-in-law Brian, Steve and Jonny, his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

 

May Arthur Rest in Eternal Peace.

 

Arthur will repose at O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton (P25 X382) on Sunday 15th February from 4.00pm to 5.30pm.

 

Reception into St. Mary’s Church, Carrigtwohill on Monday 16th February for 2.30pm Funeral Mass, followed by a Service at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
