Arthur Townsend

Arthur Townsend, Tralee, Co. Kerry, died peacefully (in the kindness and care of all the staff of Our Lady of Fatima Home) on 31st May 2023, just two weeks shy of his 92nd birthday, beloved husband of the late Dervil; lovingly remembered by his children - Jane, Ann, Marie, Luke, John and Maeve and their partners, as well as his brother, Declan, his extended family, and he was a much loved Grandpa to his fifteen grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Friday (2nd June) from 4 pm to 6 pm.

Funeral arriving to Our Lady & St. Brendan’s Church, Tralee on Saturday morning at 10 am where the Requiem Mass for Arthur will be celebrated at 10.30 am (streamed on www.stbrendansparishtralee.net). Private cremation will follow.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Recovery Haven, Killerisk, Tralee (www.recoveryhavenkerry.com/donate), or care of the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee.
