Austin Finnerty

Finnerty, Austin, (Raheny, Dublin formerly of Dungannon, Co.Tyrone), Austin died suddenly, but peacefully, at Beamount Hospital, on the 5th of October 2023. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his wife Barbara, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, friends, colleagues, neighbours and all the students here and abroad whose lives he touched throughout the years. Predeceased by his father Michael, his mother Maureen, sister Mary and his brother Teddy.

Austin will be reposing at his residence on Tuesday, 10th October, from 5.00-7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 11th October, at St Monica’s Church, Edenmore, at 11.30am followed by burial in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton. Funeral Mass can be viewed via the link below.

At the families request, donations in lieu of flowers may be made in person at Austin's residence during his reposal or at St Monica's Church in aid of Bethany Bereavement Support Group.
