Austin MORAN

Austin Moran, 25 Shore Road, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly Formoyle, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo and formerly of Kerinstown, Killocon, Co. Westmeath, peacefully, at the Belmullet Community Hospital, on 8th August, 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Celia Moran and his sister Ann Mulligan.

Beloved husband of Philomena (née Walshe) and dear Dad to Teresa O’Toole (Belmullet) and Camilla Rignall (U.K.). He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son in law Eddie O’Toole, cherished grandchildren Zara, Amy, Ruth, Elise, Cieran, Lara and Michael, great-grandchildren Ruby, Nikki, Niamh, Eoghan, Logan and Skyla, brothers Johnny (Meath), Pat (Manchester) and Michael (Cheshire), sister Rita Bennett (Mullingar), relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Austin’s remains will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday evening from 4 o’clock until 6 o’clock with Funeral arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet at 7 o’clock. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday morning at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.
