The death has occurred of Babs (Mary) MacNamara 'Hy-Brasil', Ardfinnan and formerly of Newcastle Co Tipperary. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Noel (late of Mack Cleaners, Clonmel). Babs passed away peacefully on the 6th January 2025 in Melview Nursing Home, Clonmel, aged 89 years. Dearly loved mother of Brendan, Helen, John, Maurice, Aidan, Clare and Colette. She will be deeply missed by her children, her daughters-in-law Maura, Deirdre, Mary and Deirdre, her sons-in-law John (O'Connell), Colm (O'Callaghan) and Conal (Bonnar), her cherished grandchildren Aisling, Ciara, Emer, Ciarán, Aran, Conor, Caoilfhionn, Enda, James, Shane, Luke, Darragh, Eva, Leah, Ellen, Eve, Jane, Pearse, Éadaoin, Sorcha (RIP) Cathal, Fiadh and Fionán, her great grandchildren Holly, Elsie and Jack, her nieces, nephews and her wide circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home Hy-Brasil, Ardfinnan Eircode E91F348, on Friday 10th from 4pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday 11th in the Church of the Holy Family, Ardfinnan at 12.00, followed by burial in St Finnian's Cemetery, Ardfinnan. For those who cannot attend the funeral mass, it can be viewed Ardfinnan Parish livestream service www.churchservices.tv/ardfinnan. Family Flowers only.
