The death has occurred of Barbara Fitzpatrick (Barbara Willie), Dooyeher, Carna, Co. Galway, peacefully in the gentle care of the staff of University Hospital Galway and surrounded by her loving family on Saturday 8th October 2022. Daughter of the late Willie and Barbara King. Predeceased by her husband, Mikie Fitzpatrick, Goulane, Clifden and her sister Mary Nee, Shanaheever, Clifden. Barbara will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving daughters Ann Marie and Martina, her sons Peter and Willie. She will also be missed by her cherished thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, sons in law Brendan and Joe, Peter's partner Róisín and daughters in law Bridie and Jane. She will be very sadly missed by her extended family whom she loved so well.Barbara will be fondly remembered by her neighbours and many dear friends.

Reposing at Mylotte's Funeral Home, Carna (H91D2NK) on Wednesday, 12th October, from 5.30pm. Removal at 7.30pm to Séipéal Mhuire, Carna. Funeral Mass for Barbara on Thursday, 13th October, at 12 noon followed by burial in Moyrus Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to her chosen charity, Galway Hospice.
