(née Jackman)

Barbara Sarah Doherty (née Jackman) late of Sandymount, Dublin 4, and formerly of Belmullet, Co. Mayo, passed away suddenly at her home on April 5th, 2025. Predeceased by her parents Marcella and Seán Jackman.

Beloved wife of Neal and loving mother of James and John. Barbara will be sadly missed by her husband, sons, sister Pam, brothers Seán, Trevor and Isaac, her daughters-in-law Aisling and Olivia, her cherished grandchildren Max, Mathilda, Jack and Sophie, and her wide circle of extended family and friends.

Reposing on Friday 11th April at her house (not new apartment) in Sandymount from 4pm – 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Mary’s, Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount (D04 TOA8) at 10am for Requiem Mass, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium in the Victorian Chapel at 12.15pm.
