The death has occurred of
Barbara Sweeney
Sweeney, Barbara (Drumcondra, and formerly of the Institute of Industrial Research and Standards) - February 1st, 2025, after a long and interesting life lived well, in the care of the wonderful staff of Northwood Residential Home.
Remembered with love by her nieces and nephews Cassian, Patricia, Richard, Frankie, Nick, Frank, David, Paul, Barbara, and Siun; grand-nieces Eavan, Anna, Maureen, Barry, Mark, Gráinne and Suibhne; her godson David Park and loving nieces and nephews-in-law Steve, Jacqueline, Isobel, and Sean. Predeceased by her sisters Imelda, Angela, Helen, and Sheila, and her brothers Aidan and Frank.
The loving and dedicated heart of her family and a steadfast friend to many.
Funeral Service on Thursday afternoon (February 6th) at 3.45pm at Mount Jerome Crematorium Garden Chapel, followed by Cremation.
No flowers by request.
Donations, in lieu, if desired, to the Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
