Barry DUGGAN

Barry Duggan of “Bluebell Lodge”, Old Dublin Rd., Carlow and formerly of Duggans, The Cross, Dublin St., Carlow, passed away suddenly but peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on January 9th, 2026 at his home.

 

Pre-deceased by his loving parents Pat and Katie

 

Beloved husband of Aileen, loving father of Shane and Ashling, adored grandfather of Seán, Aodh, Alex and Elliott and cherished brother of Brendan, Frank, Laurie, Ann, Eithne, Martin, Colman and the late Noel, Paddy, Fr. Peter, Fr Oliver, Kate, Sr. Maura and Baby Martin Brendan.

 

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Ger, daughter-in-law Gillian, brothers, sisters, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

 

May Barry’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

 

Barry will repose at Carpenters Funeral Home Shamrock Sq., Carlow (R93 C863) on Wednesday January 14th from 3pm until 7pm, with prayers at 6pm that evening.

Removal from there on Thursday morning at 9.45am, to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to Carpenter Bros Cremation Chapel, Shamrock Sq, arriving for Cremation Service at 11.30am approx.
