Peacefully after a short illness at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Mary and cherished father of Gareth, Kieran and Finbarr. Barry will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law Eimear, Yvonne and Ali, his adored grandsons Oisin, Sam, Noah, Cillian, Josh and baby Aksel Barry, his sisters Margaret (Donovan), Mary , brother John, brother-in-law Vincent and his wife Bernardine.

Predeceased by his sister Ann (Sutherland) and his brother Jerome.

Amateur cyclist, active sailor on the south coast of Ireland and past Commodore of Cove Sailing Club.

 

May Barry rest in peace.

 

Barry will repose at Cahill’s Funeral Home, Newtown Rd., Cobh P24Y383 on Friday July 11th from 5pm with prayers at 6:30pm. Barry’s cremation service will take place on Saturday July 12th at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy at 12pm.
