It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely death of Barry McKenna Scotch Corner, Ballybay and more recently Cortolvin Road.

Barry passed away suddenly on Sunday 1st March 2026.

Barry will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, his father Peter, his mother Eileen, his brothers Jason (Sharon) and Keith (Lisa), his two nieces Saidbh and Cara, his uncles, aunts, cousins and wide circle of friends and neighbours.

May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace

Barry will repose at his parents house (A75V658) this evening Tuesday and Wednesday. House strictly private today Tuesday. Respects can be paid Wednesday between 3pm - 9pm. Removal Thursday morning for 11am mass in St. Macartan's Cathedral Monaghan. Burial immediately afterwards in Latlorcan Cemetery.
