Barry Moloney

On the 6th January 2024, after an extended illness, Barry passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by his family. Barry will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ulli, daughter Jill, son Lukas, son-in-law Ger, Lukas’ partner Anna, grandchildren Oscar and Oran, siblings Denis, Noreen, Mary, Joe (Fudge), Martina, Michael (Shan), John, Eileen and Sharon, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and large circle of friends.

Resposing at McCarthy’s Funeral Home Ballyvourney, on Tuesday 9th January from 6pm – 8pm. Cremation Service (which will be live streamed from: https://www.islandcrematorium.ie/services/) at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, on Wednesday 10th January at 11am. Barry's Funeral Cortege is expected to pass through Macroom some time between 9.30am - 9.45am on Wed 10th, stopping briefly in the square as a mark of respect to Barry's time growing up in the South Square and the many years with Ulli in Café Muesli.

Barry’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Barry’s sister Sharon for her guidance throughout Barry’s illness, and also to the Nurses of Marymount Hospice for the excellent care they provided for Barry at his home.
