Bartholomew (Batt) Brosnan

Bartholomew (Batt) Brosnan, Callahniska, Glenbeigh, Co. Kerry and Camden Town, London and Killarney. On the 27th of March 2026, Batt passed away peacefully in the care of the staff at Meadowside Care Home, Finchley, in the presence of his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents Mary (Maymie Fowley) and Cornelius Brosnan, his brothers Pat, John and Cornelius, and his sisters May and Bridie.

Batt was born on the 20th of January 1937. He was a devoted husband to Nancy, a loving father to Tim and Gerry, and a cherished brother to Tom. He was a much‑loved grandad to Jonathan, James and Catherine, and a proud great‑grandad to Jacob and Theo.

He will be sadly missed and dearly loved by his wife Nancy, his sons Tim and Gerry, his daughters‑in‑law Tracey and Sharon, his grandchildren Jonathan, James and Catherine, his great‑grandchildren Jacob and Theo, his brother Tom, his nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and his many friends both in London and in Ireland.

Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Whetstone, London N20 9AE on Friday 24th April 2026 at 12.30pm. Which can be viewed at www.churchservices.tv/whetstone Committal at St Marylebone crematorium at 2pm.
