Bartholomew (Batt) O'Shea

Bartholomew (Batt) O'Shea of Deelis Bridge, Cahersiveen, Co Kerry, died peacefully, at University Hospital Kerry, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, 15th July, 2024, in his 93rd year.

Predeceased by his wife Peggy, his son Bernard, his sisters Nora, Mary and Joanie and his brothers Johnny, Tadhg and Jerry. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, his daughter Maria (Garvey, Tralee) and sons Dermot (Killorglin), Seán (Athenry) and Paul (Kilcummin), his son-in-law Paddy and daughters-in-law Carina, Brenda and Alison, his grandchildren Aisling, Caoimhe, Aoife, Luke, Rory, Fionn, Neil, Laoise, Abigail, Jessica, Dara, Keelan and Odhran, his great-grandchildren Kai, Ellis, Cuan, Raffie, Pippa and Ceoladh, his brother-in-law Joseph O'Neill (Tarbert), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Daly's Funeral Home, Cahersiveen on Wednesday, 17th July from 6pm to 9pm. Funeral leaving his home at 10.15am on Thursday, 18th July arriving at the O'Connell Memorial Church, Cahersiveen for requiem mass at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in Killavarnogue Cemetery, Cahersiveen.
