Batty passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the Staff at Mercy University Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Kieran, Geraldine, Brian, David and Imelda, brother of Mary, Martin, Dick, Fr. Mike and Helen. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, family, grandchildren daughters-in-law Emilija and Niamh, son-in-law Micheál, grandchildren Sophie, Luke, Daniel, Erika, Liam, Christine, Ellie and Edward, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Rest in peace.

Batty will repose at his home, visitation on Monday from 3.30.pm. until 7.30.pm. Reception into St. Bartholomew’s Church, Bartlemy, Tuesday, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Rathcormac Cemetery.
