Batt Coleman

Coleman (Dunderrow, Kinsale) on April 16th 2026, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Marymount Hospice and surrounded by his loving family. Batt, "The Fields Bar", beloved husband of Mary (nee Ahern) and dear father of Lisa, Mark, Michelle, Kerrie, Stephen, Daniel, Gavin and the late Conor. Predeceased by his sister Geraldine and brother Diarmuid.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, brother Danjoe, sons-in-law Eoin, Paul and Fergus, daughters-in-law Wendy, Sharon, Fernanda and Karen, adored grandchildren Samuel, Henry, Adam, Robyn, Leon, Jack, Amy, Clara and Oisín, also, Ben and Aimee, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, extended family, loyal customers and many friends from here and all over the world.

Batt will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale (eircode P17WC61) on Sunday from 5.30pm followed by prayers at 7pm. (Parking is available in Supervalu Car Park by kind permission - max 2 hours).

Removal on Monday from Funeral Home at 2.40pm en route to St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale for Requiem Mass at 3pm which will be live-streamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale after which Batt will be laid to rest in Dunderrow Cemetery.
