Benedict Thomas Keegan

21st March 1947 – 2nd May 2025

 

Ben was predeceased by his parents, Josephine and Kevin, his sisters, Rosemary O’Connor and Kathleen Wallace, his brothers, Joe and Peter, his infant siblings, Gemma and Camillus, his sister-in-law Alva Keegan and his brothers-in-law Douglas O'Connor and David Wallace.

 

Ben passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore.

 

Ben will be sadly missed by his brothers Barry and Adrian, his sister-in-law Nuala, his nieces Carol Dillon, Jeanne-Noelle Courtney, Gemma-Kate Wilkinson and Sarah-Jane Gordon-Wallace, his nephews Michael O’Connor, Kevin Keegan, Rory O’Connor and Robert Wallace, their partners, great-nieces, great-nephews, as well as his extended family, friends and neighbours.

Ben’s requiem mass will be celebrated in St Stephen’s Church, Tyrrellspass on Saturday the 10th of May at 12pm. A private cremation will take place on Monday.
