Benjamin (Ben) Murphy

MURPHY, Ben passed away peacefully on 6th April 2021, aged 91 in the exceptional care of Teach Altra Nursing Home, Newmarket in the presence of his family.  Ben was predeceased by his son Danny, his parents Eugene and Hannah Murphy, siblings Kathleen, Margaret, Denis, Bill and Dan.  

Sadly missed by his loving family, wife Margaret, daughters and sons Joan, Catherine, Eugene, Patrick, Anne and Margie, sisters Mary Rogers (Navan) and Hannah Robshaw (U.K.), grandchildren, Sammy, Molly, Adam, Ronan, Manus and Sarah, great-grandchildren, Fenix and Matthew, sons and daughter-in-law, Sean, Neil, and Dora, partners, Andrew, Conor, Quigs, Maria and Jake, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, his good neighbours and his many friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Requiem mass for Ben will take place on Thursday, 8th of April, at 12 noon in the Church of The Holy Spirit, Taur, followed by burial in Clonfert Cemetery. Ben’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the Newmarket and Taur Facebook page. In accordance with the Government and HSE guidelines, Ben's funeral will take place privately.
