Bennie (James) Byrnes

The death has occurred of Bennie (James) Byrnes, Glebe, Drumsna, Co. Leitrim, and formerly of Cappataggle, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, on Sunday 30th April 2023, peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Mary Frances. Sadly missed by his daughter Anne-Marie (O’Reilly), son-in-law Daniel, grandchildren Kate & Ben, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Rest in Peace

Bennie will repose in the funeral home at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim, (N41 KP62) on Monday 1st of May from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday 2nd at 12 noon in St. Michael’s Church Cappataggle, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway followed by burial afterwards in Killalaghton Cemetery.
