Benny Brady

The death has occurred of Benny Brady, 62 The Crescent, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Peacefully, Wednesday 3rd February 2021 peacefully in Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Una and son Kevin. Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by his devoted family, daughters, Rose, Celia and Julie, sons, Terence, Martin, Johnny, Bernard and Philip, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Jimmy and Tony, sisters Bridie, Mary and Rose, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Following the HSE and Government Guidelines for Level 5, there will be no public wake as Benny’s funeral and burial will be celebrated privately by his family (limited to 10).

Benny will repose among his family at his home. There will be an opportunity for neighbours and friends to pay their respects by lining the route in a safe and socially distanced manner, from his home as Benny’s funeral cortège travels to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem Mass on Friday morning (5th February) at 11 am, with burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, where Benny will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife Una.
