Benny Dobbelaar

Benny Dobbelaar of Cahermoneen, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly Westdorpe, The Netherlands, died peacefully at home surrounded by his heartbroken family, on 25th September 2025, cherished husband of Kathleen, devoted father of Niamh, Ciara and Séana, beloved son of Anna and dear brother of Marina.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren Fiadh & Éala, sons-in-law Paddy & Darren, mother-in-law Bernadette (O’Connor), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, good neighbours and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Benny will repose at his home in Cahermoneen (V92A99F) on Friday (26th September) from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Saturday morning at 9.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Benny will be celebrated at 10 a.m. (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Private cremation will follow.
