Bernard, Bernadette (Bernie), (née Devine) – 27th March 2026, of Howth Road, Raheny, Dublin. Bernadette passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Francis Hospice after a recent illness. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Sarah Mary Devine and her sister Betty.

 

Bernadette will be sadly missed by her adoring husband Harry and her children Jackie, Mark, Julie, Brian, Stephen, Paul, Niamh, Colin and Louise. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Matthew, Eoin, Sarah, Amy, Emily, Finn, Darragh, Rian, Thomas, Aisling, Hanna, Seán, Timothy, Ailidh, Kate, Laoise, Éabha and Lucy.

 

Bernadette will be greatly missed by her sisters Antoinette, Aileen and Pauline, and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

 

The family is sincerely grateful for the care and support received at St. Francis Hospice and at St. James's Hospital.

 

No flowers please, donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice.

Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Raheny, D05EE97 on Monday afternoon 30th March from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Tuesday 31st March morning to the Church of Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown crematorium.
