BYRNE (née Grogan) (Elm Grove, Ballybrack, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ballyfermot) – February 4th 2026 (suddenly) in the wonderful kind care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Elm Park. Bernadette (Bernie); dearly beloved wife and best friend of Billy, much loved and devoted mother of Mark, Andrea, Lindsey and Stephen. She will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, children, sons-in-law Dougie, John and also Luke, her adoring grandchildren Conal, Carla, Kai, Katie, Maci-Mae and Heidi, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

 

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at her home on Sunday (Feb 8th) from 4pm to 6pm (all welcome). Removal on Monday (Feb 9th) to St. Michael’s Church, Dun Laoghaire arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Michael’s Cremation Services Chapel at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 V962 arriving for 11.45am cremation service.
