Bernadette (Bernie) CODY

CODY (née Dixon), Bernadette (Bernie), late of Finglas and formerly of Drumcondra. Passed away on the 29th September, 2025. (Peacefully) surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the staff of Marian House, Glasnevin. Bernie, beloved wife of the late Gerard and devoted mother of Lilian, Rebecca, Jackie and David.She will be sadly missed and always remembered by her daughters and son, daughter-in-law Deborah, Rebecca’s partner Adam, her cherished grandchildren Oisín, Elise, Sarah, Adeline, sister-in-law Eileen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends especially the Holy Faith Sisters of Marian House.

Recently predeceased by her son-in-law David.

Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West (D11 W7VX) on Thursday (2nd Oct) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral on Friday morning (3rd Oct) in St Canice’s Church, Finglas Village, arriving for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to a charity of your choice.
