Bernadette (Bernie) died peacefully in the comfort of her home on Thursday, 26 September. 2024. Predeceased by her husband Jim, and by her parents Patrick and Catherine, brother Pat, sisters Peggy and Teresa and by her son-in law Mick on 21 September, 2024.

Much loved mother of Brendan, Marie, Sheila, Kevin, Declan and Noelle. Very sadly missed by her children and their partners, her twelve grandchildren and two great grandsons, sisters Noreen, Mary and Phil, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Monday, 30 September, from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road (H91 YA30) on Tuesday, 01 October, in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 11 a.m. Following Mass Bernie will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery with her beloved husband Jim.
