(née Gibson)

Beaumont, Dublin / Fairview, Dublin

Jacobs Bernadette (Bernie) (née Gibson) (late of Beaumont and formerly of Brian Road, Fairview) April 26th 2020 (peacefully) in her 93rd Year, in the exceptional, loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Raheny Community Nursing Unit following a long illness borne with tremendous Courage and Dignity and characteristic Good Humour.

 

Beloved wife and best friend of the late Hendrikus (Harry), greatly loved and loving mam of Mick and Paula, immensely proud and loving grandmother of David, Anna and Alex, great-grandmother of Jake and beloved sister of the late Patricia (pattie), Seán, Micheál and Bernard. Bernadette will be forever loved and remembered by her family, son-in-law Graham and his family (Neilan) sister-in-law Angela, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

 

May She Rest in Peace

Re-united with her beloved husband Harry.

 

Paula would like to express her immeasurable gratitude to the staff of the RCNU, both past and present, for the unfailing devotion, kindness and respect shown to her mam over so many years.

 

Due to Government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private Funeral will take place. Those who would have liked to attend the Funeral but due to current restrictions cannot, please feel free to leave a message in the Condolence Book at the bottom of the page. A Memorial Service to celebrate Bernadette’s life will take place at a later date.
