Bernie passed away peacefully on 23rd October 2025 surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of Brooklodge Nursing Home.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband P.J., daughters Maria, Andrea, Patricia and Bernie, sons Joseph and Martin, sons-in-law Michael, Wolfgang, Seán and Tom, daughters-in-law Megan and Ruby, grandchildren Saoirse, Dara, Shauna, Seán, Ríoghán, Medb, Nora, Liam, Patrick, Tomás, Arlo and Ari. sister Bridie, sister-in-law Carmel, brothers-in-law P.J. and Kevin, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends at Brooklodge Nursing Home and Galway Parkinsons Ireland.

Bernie will be reposing at Grogan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tuam (H54 Y677) on Sunday evening from 5.00 o’c. Removal at 7 o’c to the Cathedral of the Assumption. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11.30 o’c. Funeral afterwards to Tuam Cemetery
