Bernie passed away peacefully on the 22nd of May 2025 in the wonderful care of the staff of Roscommon Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her husband Johnny, her son-in-law Colin, her parents Brian & Susan, her sisters Bridget, Rosie & Pattie, her brother Timothy, brother-in-law Paul, Uncle Michael and Auntie Mary. Cherished and much loved Mum of Suzanne & John. Adored Nanny to Ryan, Gary & Shauna.

Bernie will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sisters Margaret & Mary, brothers Seamus, Matt, Brian, Gerard & Eamon, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives and her many friends.

Reposing at her residence in Gallowstown, on Sunday, May 25th, from 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Monday, May 26th, to St. Mary's Church, Carniska, to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Roscommon Cemetery. Those unable to attend Bernie's Funeral but would still like to leave a message of sympathy for the family may do so by following the condolences link below.
