Bernie passed away peacefully at the Galway Hospice, following exceptional care at Galway University Hospital and more recently at the Hospice.

Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Helen and her brother Francis.

Deeply loved and very sadly missed by her husband Joe and daughter Joanne, son-in-law John, sister Eileen, brother Gerald, sisters-in-law Anne, Shirley and Nora, brothers-in-law John, Michael and John and their families, relatives and friends.

Reposing at ‘St. Anthony’s Room’ within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra on Monday, 10 June from 5 pm. Removal at 6.30 pm into the Church. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bernie on Tuesday, 11 June at 11 am. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
