Bernadette (Bertie) Treacy née Mc Ardle, The Square, Blackrock. Co. Louth and formerly of Broomfield. Co Monaghan. D’éalaigh Bertie uainn chuig na haingle i St. Mary’s Nursing Home, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, 29th January 2021. Bertie, beloved wife of the late Seán, eternally supportive and loving mother of Mona (Metcalfe), Marina (Ní Threasaigh O Neill), Jimmy and Shane. Beloved Mamó of Patrick, Joseph, Ramona, Solène, Marielle, Brigitte, Éadaoin, Robert, Isabelle, Tiarnach, David, Clayton and Roy; loving mother-in-law of Sandra, Suzanne, Jim and Nigel; sister of the late Kathleen, Jimmy, Molly (Sr. Mary Anne), Betty (Ward), Mona (Sr. Monica) and Patricia.  Bertie will also be sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

St. Brigid, pray for her, St. Pio and St Anthony, be at her side.

Due to government guidelines Bertie’s funeral Mass and burial will take place privately on the feast of St Brigid, Monday 1st February at 11am at St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown, Co. Louth and may be viewed on www.church services.tv/haggardstown
