BLUNDEN (née Fitzsimons), Bernadette (Rathgar) February 1, 2026 - (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family in the gentle care of the nurses, carers and staff at Orwell Nursing Home, Rathgar. Beloved wife of the late Dermot. Wonderful Mum of Jennifer, Julie, John and Ilona. Predeceased by her parents James and Mary. Sister-in-law of the late Joan, mother-in-law of the late David. Sadly missed by her children, brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Moira, son-in-law Jamie, daughter-in-law Helen, grandchildren Lisa and her husband Shane, Ellen, Suzy, Sam and Adam, great-grandson Jack, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Reposing on Friday, February 6, from 5pm to 7pm at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, D04 X446, (or view on Google Maps by clicking this map link).

 

Funeral Mass at 10am on Saturday, February 7, in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown, followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery.
