Bernadette Byrne
(née Fulcher)

The death has occurred of Bernadette Byrne (née Fulcher), Hammondstown, Dunleer, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, after a long illness, surrounded by her family. Bernadette, beloved wife of Séan (John) and loving mother of Bernadette Jnr, Georgina, Derek, Deborah, Jerome and Jonathan, and sister of Ita. Predeceased by her brothers Bertie and Jimmy, sister Alice and grandson Gerard. Adored grandmother of Michael, Rosie, Patrick, Tomás, Caoimhe, Darragh, Odhrán, Ruairí, Finn, Shauna, Eva and Áoife. Sadly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Tracy, Una and Paola, sons in-law Keiran, Kevin and Steve, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends, of which there are many.

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (Eircode A92 V38H) on Sunday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Monday from the Funeral Home arriving for Funeral Mass in celebration of her life, at St. Brigid’s Church, Dunleer at 12 noon which can be viewed live at https://www.dunleerparish.ie/2015/06/st-brigids-church-tv/. Burial afterwards in Mosstown Cemetery.

 

Typical funeral attire not expected, the more colourful, the better.

Bernadette’s family and friends, especially her daughters, granddaughters, sister, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces and friends want you to know, and hear loudly that #MetastaticMatters.
