The death has occurred of Bernadette (Detta) Lynam, née Kiernan, 66 Killyconnigan, Monaghan and formerly of Carrick-on-Shannon, 27th September, peacefully at her home in the loving care of her devoted husband Michael. Predeceased by her sisters Joan, Constance & her brother JC (John Cecil). Detta will be forever missed and remembered by her husband Michael, her sister in law Della Brett (Kilkenny), brothers in law Donal (Australia) and Andy (Kilkenny), nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Detta will repose at Clerkin's Funeral Home (H18YF22), Monaghan on Friday the 29th Sept from 5pm with closing prayers at 8pm. Detta's funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday the 30th at 11am in St Macaratan's Cathedral, with burial afterwards in Latlurcan Cemetery.
