Bernadette SCALLAN
(née Nooney)
Bernadette Scallan (née Nooney) of 33 Mount Clare Court, Graiguecullen, Carlow and formerly of Dangan, Summerhill, Co Meath passed away peacefully, on January 27th, 2026 at her home.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas, much loved mother of DeLourde, Patricia, Jacinta, Martina, Olivia and Bernadette, adored grandmother of Eoin, Donal, Jennifer, Sadhbh, David, John and Kevin and cherished great-grandmother of Thomas.
She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sons-in-law Denis, Harry and Roy, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
May Bernadette’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Bernadette will repose at Carpenters Funeral Home Shamrock Sq., Carlow (R93 C863) on Wednesday January 28th from 4pm until 7pm, pausing for Prayers at 6pm.
Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, followed by funeral afterwards to Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Dangan, Summerhill, Co Meath, arriving at 2pm approx., for burial.
