Bernadette Shannon-Sexton

Bernadette passed away suddenly at her home. Beloved mother of Michelle Sionnáin Shannon. Wife of John Sexton. Sister to Mary, Kathleen, Noel, Christopher and John. Bernadette is predeceased by her parents Kathleen and Michael Shannon, her brothers Sean and Michael and her sister Nuala. Bernadette will be dearly missed by her loving family, neighbours, friends and wider community.

Wake for family and close friends will be held in her home (V15N884) from 2-4pm on Friday 2nd January 2026. Reposing in The Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven Doonbeg from 6-7pm on Friday 2nd January with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday morning 3rd January at 11am in The Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven Doonbeg. Burial afterwards in Kilballyowen Cemetery, Cross.
