Bernadette Tormey, née O’ Brien, Mount St. Oliver, Drogheda, Co. Louth. 20th February 2026. Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her son Keith, infant daughter Bernice, parents Butch and Alice, brothers Eddie, Charlie, Paddy, Dessie and sisters Peg & Kathleen. Beloved wife of Shay and loving Mum to Pearse. Bernadette will be sadly missed by her husband, son, daughter-in-law Noeline, grandson Keith, granddaughter Annamaria, brother Brian, brother-in-law Alan, sisters-in-law Marie, Mary, Kathleen, Pauline and Carmel, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes (A92 XN75) on Sunday afternoon from 3pm until 5pm and at her home on Monday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11:45am in Augustinian Church, Shop Street which can be viewed live on https://www.churchservices.tv/droghedastaugustines Burial afterwards in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
