ALLEN (Cork): On June 22nd 2024, peacefully at the Cork University Hospital in the presence of his loving family, BERNARD, former Minister of State, TD for the constituency of Cork North Central and former Lord Mayor of Cork. Dearly loved husband of Marie (née Dorney) and much loved father of Lorraine, Audrey and Deirdre, and dear son of the late Thomas and Margaret.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife and daughters, sons-in-law Cathal and Gordon, Lorraine’s fiancé Thomas, grandchildren Aria, Kayla and Maria, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends.

 

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Tuesday (June 25th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

 

 

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Wednesday (June 26th) in the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Anne (North Cathedral) which can be viewed

here.

 

Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr's Cemetery.
