Who died on Saturday 2nd December 2023

Aged 72 years

Predeceased by his parents James and Catherine and his brother Dave, peacefully in Plymouth, in the loving care of the nursing support staff of Darriford Hospital and his many friends.

Bernard will be sadly missed by his brother Shay, sisters Marie and Clare, sister-in-law Olive, brother-in-law Patrick, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives and his many Irish and English friends.

MAY BERNARD REST IN PEACE

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the repose of Bernard’s soul in St. Beacon's Church, Mullinavat on Sunday the 17th December, at 10.00 a.m..

The Aylward family would like to particularly thank his nieces, Sinead and Dr. Claire, and the medical professionals and staff of the Darriford Hospital, Plymouth, for their dedicated care of Bernard during his prolonged illness. Bernard’s private funeral will take place in Plymouth at a later date.
