Bernard (Barney) Birkett

The death has occurred of Bernard (Barney) Birkett, 12 Pinewood Grove, Renmore, Galway. Barney passed away peacefully at Central Park Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. Recently predeceased by his loving wife and best friend Mary. Cherished and adored father of Bernard, Paul, Derek, Annmarie and their spouses Marie, Susan, Elaine and Martin. Predeceased by his Sisters and Brothers Robert, Maureen, Sylvester, Ann, Bridie and Joan. Adored and much-loved grandfather to Ailbhe, John, Isabelle, Niamh, Ciara, Tom, Lily and Aaron. Barney's family would like to thank the healthcare staff of Central Park Nursing Home for their compassionate care and support during his illness.

Reposing at Aras Naofa Renmore (H91YV52), Wednesday, the 22nd of November, from 4.30pm. Removal at 6.00pm to St. Oliver Plunkett Church (H91PX95). Requiem Mass on Thursday, the 23rd of November at 12.00pm. Funeral afterwards to Rahoon Cemetery.
