The death has occurred of Bernard (Barney) McMahon. Lisnafinnelly, Broomfield. 14th February 2025. Peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his beloved family.

 

Predeceased by his parents Thomas & Margaret, his brother Peter and his sisters Bridget, Alice, Madge & Annie.

 

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved wife Ann and his cherished family; Kevin, Brian & Joanne (Phil), his much-loved grandchildren Shannon, Shauna & Conor and his great-granddaughter Éada, his sisters Bernadette Slevin & Mary Morris, his extended family, neighbours & friends.

Barney will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Sunday, 16th February, from 3pm until 7pm.

 

Barney's funeral cortège will leave his home, Lisnafinnelly, on Monday, 17th February, proceeding to St. Patrick's Church, Broomfield, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
